Player Notes Harrington linked up with Paul McGinley to give Ireland their first-ever World Cup victory in 1997 and made his Ryder Cup two years ago by finishing second in the last two qualifying events. The Irishman won twice last year, but has had five second-places this season, making 14 in all in his career. He is a certified accountant, but that did not save him from forgetting to sign his card at The Belfry in a tournament last year and being disqualified when five ahead.
