Player Notes
The only player in European Tour history to have two rounds of
60, Clarke has twice been runner-up on the European Tour's Order
of Merit and was joint second in 1997 British Open. He was hardly
used by Seve Ballesteros in his debut, but partnered Lee Westwood
in foursomes and four balls last time, and in the latter they
beat Tiger Woods and David Duval. Clarke is another who has tamed
Tiger Woods, beating him in the Andersen Consulting World Championship
Match Play final last year. |
