for his parents to bring him to a golf course ... In college he
was a three-time NCAA division I All-American (1993, 1994 and
1995), and was a husband and father by the time he graduated ...
He earned his Nike Tour card at the end of 1995 and was Nike Player
of the Year in 1996, winning three times Cink was Rookie of the
Year on the PGA Tour in 1997, winning the Canon Greater Hartford
Open ... He was the second rookie to exceed $800,000 in earnings
(David Duval was the first) ... Posted four top-10 finishes through
